Compact Rules

CARS — 1980 or later Front Wheel Drive.  Maximum Wheelbase of 105″.

ENGINE — 4 cylinders only. Engines must remain stock with a 0.020 maximum allowance of clean up of head. Turbo or Super Chargers not allowed. 190 horsepower maximum.

WEIGHT — Car will be weighed with the driver.
119hp and under – No Min Weight or % Left side Wt.
120hp – 129hp – 2100lbs Min Total Wt. 55% Left Side Wt. Max
130hp – 139hp – 2200lbs Min Total Wt. 55% Left Side Wt. Max
140hp – 149hp – 2300lbs Min Total Wt. 55% Left Side Wt. Max
150hp – 159hp – 2400lbs Min Total Wt. 55% Left Side Wt. Max
160hp – 169hp – 2500lbs Min Total Wt. 55% Left Side Wt. Max
170hp and up – 2600lbs Min Total Wt. 55% Left Side Wt. Max

Stock Wheels -50 lbs (25 per side)
DOT tires 200 Treadwear and higher -50 lbs (25 per side)
DOT tires 300 Treadwear and higher -100 lbs (50 per side)
Stock Exhaust Manifold -25 lbs total

BURN-OFF – No burn-off will be accounted for. The car must meet weight every time it crosses the scales. No Exceptions.

BODIES — Stock OEM body parts only. May cut out hood and decklid.
Hood and Trunk Must Be Secured with two or more Hood Pins.
Inside of the car may be cut out for roll cage only and not to lighten the car.
Dash may be removed.

SUSPENSION — Camber Allowed on Front.
2 degrees maximum camber on Rear.
REAR toes must be ZERO with wheels pointed forward. (Absolutely NO rear steer)
Tread width + 2″ maximum. Wheelbase must be within 1/4″.

HEADERS — Headers or Manifolds Allowed.

WHEELS — Must be Stock for Car or Aftermarket Heavy Duty Wheel in sizes 13″, 14″ or 15″.
Racing Wheels must be 7″ wheels any offset long as don’t go over tread width rule. The offset must be the same on all four wheels.

TIRES — Hoosier 790 is the only race tire allowed. Must Run Same Size on All Four Wheels. DOT 200 Tread Wear or Higher. No wider than 60 series. (See above Deductions for Advantages of Running DOT Tires)

SPRINGS — Springs may be Cut or Heated. Spring Rubbers Allowed. Aftermarket Springs allowed.

EXHAUST — Must come Out from Under Car.

ROLL CAGE — All Cars Must Have Approved 4 Point Roll Cage with 4 bars in Drivers Door and at least 2 on right side.

CLEARANCE — Height 5″ on Floor pan or frame lowest point without the driver.

COMPUTER — No Hot Chips or Hot Computers. Subject to be tested at any time.

SAFETY — Fire Resistant Uniform and Fire Resistant Gloves Required Every Time Car hits the Track. Each Car Should Have NASCAR Approved Seat Belts. Snell Approved Full Face Helmet Required. Fire Extinguisher in Car Required within reach of Driver.

STOCK — Other than the listed rules above, all cars should remain stock for Make and Model. JUST BECAUSE THERE ISN’T A RULE DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN MAKE A MODIFICATION. Any rule not clearly defined by the rule book must be approved by management prior to the modification being made.

WEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS — Weight may be added or removed from any car to equal up the field.

FINAL WORD — The Inspector has the final say on rules and decisions of weight being placed.

OTHER CARS — FCS will allow cars to compete from other tracks with weight additions and/or restrictor plates added in lieu of competition at the Tech Directors discretion. Please contact Langley Austin 276.613.4208 to be prepared before arriving.
